ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
The Shooting Community Showcase exists to celebrate and strengthen the connections that make our community what it is.
Shooting is wonderfully diverse. From clay, game and Olympic disciplines to rifle, pistol, practical shooting, black powder, deer management, pest control, wildfowling and historical shooting, every part of the community has its own traditions, stories and characters.
Yet despite that diversity, we all belong to the same wider community.
Support Our Sport showed what can happen when people come together around a shared challenge. The Shooting Community Showcase seeks to build on that spirit by bringing people together around something equally important – our shared identity.
This is a place to celebrate the people, clubs, organisations, businesses, volunteers and communities that contribute so much, often quietly and behind the scenes.
Through stories, conversations and collaboration, the aim is simple:
To strengthen connections, improve communication and celebrate the people who make our community what it is.
Because while our disciplines may differ, we are all part of the same shooting community.
